Practices started on Monday 30 September 2024, and will be held through the autumn and winter every Monday, from 8 to 9.30 pm, at St John's Church, Spring Grove, Kingston. New dancers welcome, no experience necessary. (But contact us beforehand, as the entrance to the church can be hard to find.)
Saturday 19 October 2024 – Barnes Common Autumn Fayre
We will be dancing at this community event in Barnes Common in the afternoon, to help celebrate Apple Day and all things Autumn.

Tuesday 23 April – St George's Day
In our traditional start to the season, we danced at the George and Dragon in Thames Ditton.
Wednesday 1 May – May Day
We danced the summer in at dawn on top of Box Hill, Dorking, along with Ewell St Mary Morris Men, Rampant Rooster and Black Swan Border Morris.
Saturday 4 May – May Merrie
We danced at a community fair organised by BRaG (Burton Road, Richmond Park Road and Gibbon Road) residents' association, in North Kingston. The residents enthusiastically joined in the dancing!

Our friends Black Swan Border Morris joined us on Kingston riverside, at the back of The Ram pub.

We danced with our friends Rampant Rooster from Dorking, at The Royal Oak in North Holmwood.
Wednesday 19 June – Midsummer Morris
We held our traditional Midsummer gathering on Twickenham riverside with Phoenix Clog,
Green Man Sword, Ewell St Mary Morris Men and Thames Valley Morris Men, meeting at The White Swan and moving to The Barmy Arms.
Monday 1 July
With our friends Ewell St Mary Morris Men, we danced on Kingston riverside in the area behind The Ram pub.
Saturday 6 July – St Margaret's Fair
We danced in the afternoon at this lively community event in Moormead Park, St Margaret's.
Monday 15 July
Joined by our friends Datchet Border Morris, we danced in Richmond-on Thames, first at The Cricketers and then at The White Cross.
Saturday 28 September – Surbiton Festival
We joined the procession at noon, then after lunch we danced in Surbiton station forecourt.

In the afternoon, we danced with Phoenix Clog at The Angel, and the George and Dragon, in Thames Ditton.
1 May – May Morning
We danced at dawn to welcome in the summer, on top of Box Hill, along with Ewell St Mary Morris Men and Rampant Rooster Morris. Later that day we danced in Kingston town centre, by the riverside.

Wednesday 21 June – Midsummer Morris
Our celebration of midsummer took place in Twickenham on the riverside with our friends Greensleeves Morris Men, Phoenix Clog and Thames Valley Morris. We started at The White Swan, then moved on to The Barmy Arms.
Monday 10 July
We danced on Kingston riverside, behind The Ram, with our friends Madder Mill Molly from Carshalton.
Tuesday 11 July
We were at The Bell, Walton on the Hill, with Rampant Rooster, border-style Morris dancers from the Dorking area.

We were back in Kingston at The Albion.

We danced at The Willoughby Arms in Kingston.
Saturday 16 September – Kingston's Heritage Festival
As part of the festival, we danced at the Coronation Stone, Guildhall.
Saturday 23 September – Surbiton Festival
We joined the procession from 12 noon, then danced in Surbiton station forecourt.
Wednesday 13 December – Christmas Wassail
We held our Christmas dance (and sing) at the Willoughby Arms in Kingston, with our friends Pielarks singers, Phoenix Clog and Ewell St Mary Morris Men.

Sunday April 10 – Vibrant Kingston – the Mayor’s Spring Event
Evening dance performance alongside other Kingston community groups, at the Rose Theatre, Kingston.
Saturday 23 April – St George’s Day
We danced to enthusiastic crowds at Whitton Festival, then on to a cheerful and receptive audience at The George and Dragon, Thames Ditton,
Monday 25 April – Comedy night
We opened a comedy night for the charity Man & Boy at our practice venue, St John's Church, hamming it up with some joyous and vigorous stick dances.

2021 round-up
It was great to be back dancing together during the summer of 2021. We practised regularly in Laurie's garden, and danced out at the following events (see Facebook for photos and more):
Monday 19 July:
The first dance out since 2019! We had a brilliant time at the Royal Oak, Brockham, as guests of our friends Rampant Rooster.
Saturday 24 July – Kingston Environment Centre Open Day
We danced at noon. It was very good to be there to support the centre and its excellent work.
Saturday 31 July – private event
Our dancing and playing was enjoyed by residents in Rosebery Care Home, Epsom.
Saturday 7 August – private event
We were enthusiastically welcomed at a private party in Thames Ditton, and had a great time.
Saturday 25 September – Surbiton Festival
Cheers and claps greeted us at the Festival – a brilliant event, wonderful to be part of it again.
